Linda Orsini:

Hello and welcome to a call for love. I believe the most powerful gift you can offer yourself is to give and receive love more freely. I'm your host Linda Orsini meditation guidance spiritual coach. Everyone has the desire to be seen, heard, respected and loved. The journey to becoming more connected to your greater purpose lies within the ability to live from the deep source of love within you. Let's begin.

Linda Orsini:

Welcome back to a call for love. If you're joining for the first time, welcome. You are going to love today's episode because it relates to everybody. I am sending you a love letter. And my love letter to you is what mantra do you need to move you forward in your life? You know, there's so much fear around us. There's so many things we want to do. But we're just not making the shift to have it manifest in our life. And so I have created a mantra and a mantra is a word or an intention or a phrase in order to propel you to invite more of what you want into your life. So I began this podcast, a call for love about six months ago. And I had a lot of fear. I am not even going to begin to share with you the silly stories of rerecording over and over again, until I felt I got it right. I had so much fear. It took a lot for me to come onto audio and video to share with you my message. But you know what I did. And looking back, I'm really proud. And I did not do it alone. I had a whole support system. And my biggest support was my mantra. Every morning, I had this posted note on my desk, in my bedroom. On my computer. Everywhere I could put it I even made a screensaver it I even made a screen share of this message. One time I was at an event. And my friend saw this message I haven't told you yet because it might shock you. And she says what is that? And I changed my screen really quick because I was embarrassed. Looking back. Why should I have been embarrassed? I was doing what I needed to show up every day. And so my mantra was, and still continues to be fuck fear, show up and shine. You're right. You heard me correct ice for fuck fear, show up and shine. Because guess what, that's the only way I was going to do the hard thing was taking the steps I needed to show up every day to do what scared me. It didn't just scare me. It terrified me. It terrified me to be so vulnerable to be so authentic, to share deep my heart to not only friends, family and strangers my message that was my really moving forward in my life. It's something that I wanted to conquer. And that mantra fuck fear show up and shine gave me the courage every day, to just take one step forward. It didn't even have to be a big step, just one step to move me forward. In my dreams, to really live from the deep source of love and power within me. That took so much courage. And I had to really imprinted in my mind. I had to shift before I went to bed. When I woke up in the morning. This was my mantra. It helped me do the hard thing. Because you know that story. The Little Engine That Could I think I can I think I can I think I can? Well guess what? I think I can is not getting it done. I know I can I know I can. I know I can. Maybe you don't know you can but fake it till you make it. Because guess what? You can. I'm rooting for you. I know you can. If you want something bad enough, you can make it happen. This is my love letter to you. What scares you? What do you want to do that you haven't been able to do? I had a client and she said to me, you know I always wanted to go to Italy. I was always waiting for somebody to go to Italy with me. And it's never happening and guess what I I just decided, I'm going to go by myself, I can do it. And guess what she is in Italy right now, as I record this, and I am so impressed, and so proud, because that was what scared her. That was the fifth year. And I always say, do it with fear. If you can't be afraid, then do it with fear. It's not going to kill you. Of course, you have to be safe. You know, you have to make logical decisions. But if you know it's safe, then do it. Go for it, do the hard thing. And sometimes we don't even know what the hard thing is. This is where asking a friend or a family member or a colleague, you know, what have you heard me say that I wanted to do for so long? And I haven't done and they will surprise you. Because they'll say, ah, you know, you've always said you wanted to go mountain climbing or, you know, ziplining, or whatever it is, and you haven't done it, I haven't heard you say it at least. And then it, it's a reminder to sit back and say, wow, they notice and I did it sometimes when we're so close, and so ingrained in a situation we cannot see the trees through the forest. And this is where others can actually shed some light and show us where we have been stuck, or very afraid. And then from there, you can make a plan, you can make a mantra that really resonates with you, then enables you to show up and do it. I know I put this mantra all over the place. And it was a reminder, it was constantly coming into my mindset, and a call for love. I've said this before, the universe does not hear our words, the universe hears our vibration. When you think it and you think it and you think it, you start to believe it. Dr. Wayne Dyer says live as if your dreams have already been answered. And this is so true. We want to live our life the best we can. We have so much potential if we could get over the fear. And there's fear all around us. There's fear, perpetuating our social media, propaganda. Everything's going on around us. But we do not have to get sucked into that vortex. We can empower ourselves. And we can be around those who are on team. And then you put your name, I always say who's on team, Linda, well, who's on your team. Those are the people that you want in your life, to help you do the hard thing to fuck fear, show up and shine one day at a time, one step at a time, one intention at a time, one action at a time. Because those baby steps move mountains, you can only get from A to B one step at a time. So don't look so far ahead. Just every day do the one thing. So for my client, she looked up Italy, she looked up different routes where she wanted to go, she looked at the ocean and the cities and Rome, she had to decide what really resonated with her. And as she planned and thought about it every day, she could take another action to make it happen. And that's what I want for you. That's what I want for a call for love listeners. Because there's two places to be out there in a place of love.

Linda Orsini:

Or there is a call for love. And sometimes a call for love is self compassion. You know, I'm all about self compassion, self respect, self love, self care. But sometimes we need to be a little bit more gritty. We need to do the hard thing. And you can do it. I know you can because this is our one life. So let me know if this resonates with you. Share it with a friend share it was somebody you know who's always wanted to do something and has let something else get in the way and usually it's yourself because sometimes our worst enemy is ourselves. I hope this resonates. Buck fear, show up and shine. Do it anyway you can have fun. Decide what brings you joy. Decide what fills your heart and go for it always will wishing you so much love so much joy, and I am here to support you, rooting for you in this game called life. From my heart to yours. Namaste
